History of the Boutique - Why is a group in St. Paul supporting children in Uganda?

Thank you for shopping and donating.
And to the more than 50 VOLUNTEERS who...

print and cut tags, raffle tickets, and bookmarks.
make and distribute signs to alert people that the sale is coming.
ask for donations for the raffle, thank those donors, and contact the winners.
move so many objects around the church to make way for the transformation of the sale…
and then move it all back again (hopefully in the original place!)
code, price, and attach tags to thousands of craft and food items.
cook, pack up meals to go, and then clean the kitchen.
set up five rooms and arrange items logically in each.
make and hang signs to help people shop.
pick up “okay to park” signs and set them up outside.
During the sale they offer hospitality, greet and assist shoppers, tell all about the Blue House in Uganda, sell raffle tickets, work the register, and bag up the purchases.
