A fun fundraiser to support the Blue House children

From a past participant:
I support and LOVE to participate in this very original and heartwarming event that happens for Blue House to celebrate Mother's Day. Blue House is a small orphanage in rural Uganda that houses girls in a safe family-like home providing them with nutritious food, health care and clothing. Blue House also helps and encourages these children/young ladies by mentoring them and providing them educational support. These young people have gone on to receive degrees in a number of important professions such as nurses and even a doctor. Having three daughters of my own, I feel compelled to be present at every one of these events, along with my girls. Girls, women, are the future of our world! So apart from enjoying delicious food and tasting many different teas from the area, I feel I'm supporting a very worthy cause. ~ Sonia Ellis |
